About Talk Trenton
Welcome to Talk Trenton, the City of Trenton's online engagement platform. We want to make sure you get a preview of the City’s major projects and have a chance to provide feedback that will help ensure their success.
This online platform offers a variety of interactive tools, including discussion forums, polls, surveys and crowdsource mapping. You can do all this from your computer or smart phone at times that work best for you.
This is just another way for us to hear from you when we can’t meet in person, especially with COVID-19.
To participate for the first time, simply:
- Sign up for Talk Trenton by clicking on the "Sign In" button in the top right of any page
- Choose a username and password
- Complete a few quick questions about you
- You will receive an email to validate your email address
- Return to the website and click the "Sign In" button

Create opportunities for youth in Trenton, matching them with small businesses in the city. Use nonprofits to help with training.

Invest in more municipal capacity to target/reduce crime and enforce municipal laws
Something has to be done about the crime situation -- we all know this. If the need is for more officers and police leadership that can be more strategic in these efforts then maybe some of that money needs to be invested in that way. (That may or may not be within the guidelines and this could be wishful thinking but we all know that if this city remains crime-ridden then no other monies spent will matter.) ___ Parking enforcement alone (if consistent) can yield so much municipal income for Trenton. No one adheres to alternate side of the street parking. We have the two stadiums where out-of-towners park wherever during peak ballgame/arena seasons. Invest in parking enforcement as one way to get people in a mode of respecting laws and realizing that there are consequences for breaking those while making money for continuous improvements. Start fining people for leaving garbage cans in front of their homes. Fine the homeowners/slumlords who live in the nice parts of Jersey who leave their Trenton homes looking like SH#T. Pay people to run the municipality like the BUSINESS it is so that the owners, residents, and visitors can respect it.
